Time:2025-06-23

The 10th International Symposium on Eulerian Subgraphs and Related Problems was held from June 13 to 15 in Beijing. The conference was hosted by the College of Mathematics and Physics of Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), and co-organized by the Activity Group on Graph Theory and Combinatorics with Applications of the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM) and the Beijing Interdisciplinary Science Society (BISS). Feng Wang, Vice President of BUCT, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcomespeech. Over 150 representatives from more than 70 domestic and international research institutes attended the conference.

Welcome speech by Feng Wang

Feng Wang stated that this conference was a high-level academic exchange event, which will strongly promote the deep cooperation of graph theory, combinatorics and related fields in academia and industry, foster interdisciplinary exchanges and transformation of research outcomes, and inject a strong impetus for national economic development and scientific and technological progress.

Professor Hong-Jian Lai from West Virginia University, USA, and Professor Wei Wang, Dean of the College of Mathematics and Physics at BUCT, delivered speeches respectively.

Conference Highlights

The conference focused on the latest research developments of Eulerian subgraphs and related problems, with ten impressive plenary lectures, which systematically elaborate the cutting-edge results and important applications of Eulerian graphs, graph algorithms, combinatorial design, and network science, etc. Twenty-one invited talks addressed key issues in combinatorial optimization, network design and optimization, extremal graph theory, as well as bioinformatics and chemistry, providing detailed insights into the crucial role of graph theory and optimization algorithms in economic development and social production. At the end of the conference, Prof. Jing Li, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of BISS, Beijing University of Technology, Prof. Xueliang Li from Nankai University, and Prof. Dajin Wang from Montclair State University, USA, presented awards to the outstanding presenters.
