◇ Mathematics and Applied Mathematics

    This major was established in 1987 and was selected as a first-class undergraduate major construction site in Beijing in 2022. It is the oldest, most mature, and possesses best academic foundation among the three mathematics majors in our university. With the support of the master program in first-level discipline and the doctoral program in second-level discipline in mathematics, our major emphasizes the widespread application of mathematics in other disciplines and cultivates innovative talents with a broad theoretical foundation, good academic literacy in mathematics, and a strong sense of innovation.Graduates mainly work in technology, education, and enterprise sectors, with broad employment prospects and a high proportion of going abroad for further education and postgraduate entrance exams. Graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree.

◇ Information and Computational Science

    This major began enrollment in 2000, and was selected as a first-class undergraduate major construction site in Beijing in 2021. With the support of the first level master's program and the second level doctoral program in mathematics, it aims to focus on the cutting-edge dynamics of the computing field, achieve deep cross integration with disciplines such as data science, computer science, and artificial intelligence, and cultivate innovative talents with good mathematical theoretical foundations, modern information and computational science academic literacy, engineering computing ability, and practical ability. Graduates mainly work in related fields such as education, big data, artificial intelligence, finance and economics, with broad employment prospects and a high proportion of going abroad for further education and postgraduate entrance exams. Graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree.

◇ Financial Mathematics

    This major was selected as a first-class undergraduate major construction site in Beijing in in Beijing in 2022, with a focus on highlighting the application of mathematics in the financial field. It emphasizes the cultivation of advanced financial professionals with profound mathematical and economic and financial theoretical foundations, innovative consciousness, and international competitiveness. Graduates mainly work in data analysis, financial derivative product design, risk management, insurance actuarial and asset pricing in industries such as banking, securities, and insurance. They have broad employment prospects and a high proportion of students studying abroad and taking postgraduate entrance exams. Graduates are awarded a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

◇ Electronic Science and Technology

    This major was selected as a first-class undergraduate major construction site in Beijing in 2020, targeting the current key development needs of high-precision and cutting-edge industries. It mainly cultivates senior professional talents in optoelectronics, strategic advanced electronic materials and devices, physical electronics, electromagnetic fields and microwaves, intelligent sensing and detection, and other fields. This major enrolls students in science experimental classes and establishes a talent cultivation model with a strong foundation in science and engineering and practical abilities in engineering. The employment prospects are broad, and the proportion of students going abroad or taking postgraduate entrance exams is relatively high. Graduates are awarded a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

◇ Applied Physics

   This major relies on the National Engineering Physics Teaching Base, Beijing Physics Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, the first level master's program and the second level doctoral program in physics, driven by the practical application of physics, highlighting the intersection with engineering disciplines, and cultivating advanced composite talents with solid mathematical foundations and outstanding scientific innovation abilities who can work in fields such as optoelectronic materials and devices, computational physics, and bioelectronics. This major is enrolled under the category of science experimental classes, and graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree.
