On March 20, the School of Mathematics and Physics and Beijing Royal School held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony and the unveiling ceremony of the "Joint Base for Innovative Talent Training". Wang Guangfa, President of Beijing Royal School, Heng Xiaojun, President of Beijing Royal School, Wang Lijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mathematics and Physics, Wang Wei, Dean, Su Guifu, Vice Dean, Li Linhao, a teacher of the Department of Physics, and others attended the signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, Wang Guangfa, President of Beijing Royal School, was the first to deliver a speech. He warmly welcomed the arrival of the leaders and guests of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and profoundly elaborated on the far-reaching significance of this cooperation: "Royal School has always been committed to cultivating high-quality innovative talents with global competence, and Beijing University of Chemical Technology's outstanding achievements in scientific and technological innovation and talent training are highly consistent with it. In this cooperation, we will work together to create a high-level scientific research and education platform, so that students can cultivate scientific thinking from an early age, stimulate students' interest through practical exploration in cutting-edge laboratories, and hone their practical ability, so as to cultivate more pillars for the country."

Wang Wei, Dean of the School of Mathematics and Physics of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, then delivered a speech, expressing his firm confidence in the cooperation. He said: "The School of Mathematics and Physics will give full play to the scientific research advantages of physics, mathematics and other disciplines, and work closely with the Royal School to jointly explore new paths for the cultivation of top innovative talents. Amid warm applause, Wang Lijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mathematics and Physics of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Wang Guangfa, President of the School, jointly signed the "Letter of Intent for Strategic Cooperation in the Cultivation of Innovative Talents" and unveiled the "Beijing University of Chemical Technology-Beijing Royal School Joint Base for the Cultivation of Innovative Talents". The completion of this base is not only a solid platform for the two sides to share resources and complement each other's advantages, but also opens the door to the university's scientific research hall for students.

In this event, the two schools will rely on the joint base to carry out all-round cooperation in curriculum co-construction, teacher exchange, scientific research practice, etc., and connect the high-quality resources of basic education and higher education to build a "through-type" training model to provide support for the growth and development of young people.
