On November 15, our college successfully held the first session of the "Mathematics and Physics Academic Salon" at the Changping campus. Wang Lijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Mathematics and Physics, Wang Wei, Dean of the College, as well as nearly 40 teacher, graduate students and undergraduates attended the salon event. The salon was hosted by Lin Chengyou, Vice Dean of Scientific Research of the College of Mathematics and Physics.

Dean Wang Wei introduced the significance and background of the "Mathematical and Physics Academic Salon" to everyone, aiming to provide a platform for teachers and students of the college to share and exchange scientific research results and academic ideas, thereby promoting cooperation among teachers and increasing exchanges between teachers and students.

Afterwards, Wang Xiangyu from the Department of Mathematics and Guo Yuqiang from the Department of Physics gave wonderful reports entitled "Limit Cycle Problems of a Type of Leonard Equations" and "Liquid Crystal Optoelectronic Devices and Display Technology" respectively. The two teachers vividly demonstrated their research directions and latest research results, and explained complex mathematical and physical concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand way.

During the interactive discussion session of the salon, the teachers and students actively asked questions and interacted with the lecturers. The discussion was lively and the academic atmosphere was strong. Finally, Vice Dean Lin Chengyou made a summary speech. He said that the holding of this "Mathematical and Physical Academic Salon" not only provided a platform for the college teachers to share scientific research results and conduct academic exchanges, but also provided an opportunity for the college graduate students and undergraduates to understand the forefront of science and technology and broaden their academic horizons.

After the activity, the teachers and students at the meeting said that they had gained a lot. The College will continue to carry out the activities of "Mathematical and Physical Academic Salon " in the future, making it an important platform for academic exchange and an important help to promote scientific research of the College.
