On August 31st, over 270 new undergraduate from all over the country arrived at the beautiful Changping Campus of the College of Mathematics and Physics, starting their new study journey.

The College has always attached great importance to the welcome ceremony of undergraduates and makes careful plans to create good conditions for the smooth admission of freshmen and subsequent study and life.

At 7:30 a.m., the freshmen arrived one after another. At the scene, volunteers guided the freshmen to quickly complete the identity verification, document collection, certificate issuance and other procedures. Dormitory seniors help freshmen carry luggage, guide the way, answer questions, so that freshmen can settle down and get familiar with the campus environment as soon as possible. The College had prepared specially designed uniforms and creative gifts for the freshmen to express its welcome and best wishes.

Party Secretary of the College Wang Lijun, President Wang Wei, Deputy Party Secretary of the College Yang Ming, Vice President Su Guifu, Vice President Lin Chengyou and Vice President Chen Peigeng visited the welcome site to congratulate and welcome new students, answer questions for parents, and offer condolences to welcome volunteers and other staff.

After the welcome activity, the 2024 undergraduates of the College of Mathematics and Physics will officially begin their new life at BUCT. May the freshmen gain knowledge and cultivate character at school, make sincere friends, and write them own chapter of youth!
